The NSA has developed a number of formal and informal programs based on key outcomes set by the Association's Principal Sponsor, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.  The Association's programs are all aimed at maximising opportunities for Aboriginal Australians living in Nyoongar Country to gain health, education, social and cultural benefits, and to achieve in all types and at all levels of sport and physical recreation participation.

All programs and projects developed by the NSA incorporate four essential elements: activity; mentoring; health; and education.
