2015 NWS January School Holiday Program
Once again, NWS will be hosting a full and exciting regional School Holiday Program in the 2015 January school holidays! NWS will be visiting a host of towns in the Wheatbelt and South West, bringing exciting activities to kids in regional Aboriginal communities.
The 2015 January School Holiday Program is run in conjunction with numerous regional partners which include SWAMS, PCYC and Avon Youth Services, amongst others. Our team of Sports Development Officers and Health Promotion Officer will be on the road from Monday 12th January to Thursday 22nd January 2015 visiting various towns in the South West and Wheatbelt region.
The NWS School Holiday Programs are a community initiative that gives school aged kids, an exciting activity based program to look forward to during the school holidays. The programs are free to any youth and aim to engage kids in physical activity and also offer game based learning about healthy eating and lifestyle habits. All programs include a free healthy lunch and we encourage parents and carers to stay and join in the fun!
